Why is music education important for children?
Brain researchers today are finding more and
more evidence that taking part in all facets of
music making from an early age is one of the
very best ways to develop, challenge and
exercise the brain. Music contributes to the
development of psychomotor skills, social
skills, language development, positive self-
concept, self-discipline, imagination and
creativity, aesthetic taste, and much more.
Music is the universal language of mankind,
building bridges of understanding between
individuals, groups and nations. Music
makes the world a better place!
